If you are connecting to your child in a team where their profile is already set up, your parental connection request will need to be approved first.
In the case where the other parent/guardian is not able to approve your connection request, you can request the admin to approve it instead.
Firstly choose to connect to your child. This will send a request to the parent/guardian who is already connected to your child in the team. Instructions on how to connect to your child are here
If your request is still pending:
Start in your You tab, where you will see that your connection request is pending approval from the other parent/guardian.
Click the 3 dots to the right of the pending button and select request admin instead.
The admin will then be able to approve the request in the Team tab > members. They should also receive a notification of your request.
If your request has been denied:
Go to your You tab, where you will see that the child connected has been denied, you should also receive a notification of this.
You will now see a button that says Request admin approval. Press this button to send the request to your admin.
The admin will then be able to approve the request in the Team tab > members. They should also receive a notification of your request.
