You can transfer your Pro subscription between teams whenever you need. Each Pro subscription includes one Pro seat, which you can assign to any team you’re part of.
Teams themselves remain unchanged when you transfer a seat — their data, history, and members stay intact. Removing a team from a Pro seat simply removes its Pro features; it does not delete the team.
Before You Start
You must be the person who pays for the subscription to make the transfer.
You can transfer the Pro seat to any team you’re a member of (to transfer it to a team you are not part of, either join the team first to follow the below steps, or reach out to our support team).
How to Transfer Your Pro Seat
Open the You tab in the Heja app.
Tap Manage Premium Plans.
Select the relevant subscription.
Scroll down to Manage Connected Teams.
Find the team you want to transfer from, then tap the three dots (⋮) next to it.
Choose Swap Team.
From the list, select the team you want to transfer the subscription to.
Tap Confirm to finalise the transfer.
Freeing Up a Pro Seat
If you remove a team from your Pro plan, that seat becomes available to use again later.
When you’re ready to attach a new team:
Go to the You tab → Manage Premium Plans.
Select the subscription.
Under Manage Connected Teams, tap Add Team and choose which team you’d like to connect.
✅ Tip: Removing or swapping teams doesn’t affect your team’s data or chat history — only its Pro features.
