Push notification troubleshooting

If you're having issues not getting notifications, follow this guide

iOS

  1. Make sure your notifications are on in Heja
    - Start in Profile tab
    - Click on the bell icon in the upper right corner of your screen
    - Notifications should say "Your notifications are on"

    - Try turning the toggle off and then back on again

  2. Next, click Send test notification at the bottom of your notification settings

  3. Make sure your permissions to receive notifications are on
    - Go to your phone settings > Notifications > Heja
    - Everything should be on.

Android

  1. Make sure your notifications are on in Heja
    - Start in Profile tab
    - Click on the bell icon in the upper right corner of your screen
    - Notifications should say "Your notifications are on"
    - Try turning the toggle off and then back on again

  2. Next, click Send test notification at the bottom of your notification settings

  3. Make sure your permissions to receive notifications are on.
    - Go to your phone settings > Apps > Heja > Notifications
    - Notifications should be allowed and nothing should be blocked.

  4. Make sure your phone isn't blocking Heja notifications (Common for OPPO phones, Huawei, Lenovo, OnePlus, Samsung) Follow this guide:  https://bit.ly/2SuAwff
