Not receiving notifications
iOS
Make sure your notifications are on in Heja
Start in the You tab
Click on the bell (π) icon in the upper right corner of your screen
Notifications should say Your notifications are on
Toggle this of and back on
Make sure your your phone permissions to receive notifications are on
Go to your phone settings βοΈ > Notifications > Heja
Allow notifications should be toggled on
Send yourself a Test Notification
Head back to the Heja app and click Send test notification at the bottom of your screen
If you get the test notification, you're all set and will get notifications
If you do not get the notification follow the final step below
Reinstall
Remove the Heja app from your phone and reinstall it. You won't lose any info in doing this, you will just need to login again
Once you are logged in, send yourself a test notification as in step 3
You should now receive the test notification

Android
Make sure your notifications are on in Heja
- Start in the You tab
- Click on the bell (π) icon in the upper right corner of your screen
- Notifications should say "Your notifications are on"
- Try turning the toggle off and then back on againNext, click Send test notification at the bottom of your notification settings
- If you don't receive the notification, please press Troubleshooting and if you still get no notification, take a screenshot & press the get help from our support team button
Make sure your permissions to receive notifications are on
- Go to your phone settings βοΈ > Apps > Heja > Notifications
- Notifications should be allowed and nothing should be blockedMake sure your phone isn't blocking Heja notifications (Common for OPPO phones, Huawei, Lenovo, OnePlus, and Samsung) Follow this guide: Β https://bit.ly/2SuAwffΒ

Notification badge not disappearing
If you've read all notifications but still have a number on your Heja Icon that shows, you can try resetting your notifications by doing the following:
- Start in the You tab
- Click on the bell (π) icon in the upper right corner of your screen
- Scroll to the bottom and select "Clear all notifications"
If the badge still shows on your Heja Icon, please reach out to us in the support and we'll assist you.
