At Heja, we want to keep fees to a minimum. That’s why, on average, there's a service fee of around 3% (in the UK) and around 5% (in the US) included in each team fee.

Stripe, our payment provider, takes a percentage-based fee for all transactions. The exact fee amount depends on the amount collected.

Here’s how it works

The higher the collected amount - the smaller the fee. Similarly, the smaller the collected amount - the higher the fee.

In other words, if the collected amount increases - Stripe's percentage-based fee decreases.

To illustrate:

$3 = $3.5 = $0.50 fee

$30 = $31.5 = ~5% fee

$300 = $311 = 3.67% fee

Important to note is that the payer always pays the fee (they will see the team fee + the service fee on their total). So, if the team/coach collects $450, they receive $450 in their account.

Also, depending on where you live, the total payment fees may differ slightly based on the country’s card fees.
